What SafeSide is
SafeSide is a trust layer for deals arranged elsewhere, over Instagram, WhatsApp, or any other conversation. SafeSide is not a marketplace: it doesn't list items, match buyers with sellers, or verify the underlying agreement between them. It protects the payment for a deal both parties have already agreed to.
How a deal works
A seller creates a deal and shares a secure link. A buyer verifies their email and pays through that link. SafeSide holds the payment until the buyer confirms the item has been received as agreed, at which point it's released to the seller.
Fees
A protection fee is shown and added to the total before a buyer pays. The exact amount is always displayed upfront. Nothing is charged that wasn't shown before payment.
Your responsibilities
- Describe items accurately and honestly.
- Only confirm delivery once you've actually received what was agreed.
- Don't use SafeSide for anything illegal or for items you're not entitled to sell.
What SafeSide doesn't guarantee
SafeSide protects the payment mechanics of a deal. It doesn't guarantee the condition, authenticity, or legality of what's being sold. That remains between buyer and seller. We're not a bank, an insurer, or a licensed financial institution, and nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of any kind beyond what's explicitly described here.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of SafeSide after an update means you accept the current version.
